OK I mail my check in - it was cased on the 3rd of January. The notice tells me they will mail the rent receipts - I need my rent receipt- No rent receipt yet. I have texted him once, emailed him twice... Warren has still not sent my rent receipt... I am getting annoyed...
Now let me tell you how bad a shape the place is getting in. The halls and stars are filthy! They have not been cleaned once since the new owners took over. The manager is almost imposable to reach. I have emailed him as above and about the lack of ventilation in the bathrooms on this floor. This is a building code violation to say the least. The person across the hall from me has people over that smoke pot and she uses a tone of scented products that I am allergic to. I was even sick to the point I needed medical attention because of this once. I am thinking I don't want to end up dead because they can't get their act together.
The people in the one top floor apartment had a leaky roof and I texted this to the so called manager and there was no response at all. They tried to get a hold of him and could not - his phone needs to rind many times till the voice mail kicks in so they think they can't get him. He does not phone them back at all. My Mom called him and told him to call me at my number, he called her back on her number when we where out. He can't even follow simple instructions in my mind. This is ridiculous!
There is a note on the front door to make sure it is closed as the hinge is broken. A trip to the hardware store to get a new one must be out of the question I guess. Takes 10 min to put the new one on and adjust the door. I have done this before myself.
There are a lot of empty apartments and they do not advertise in the local paper, but they do online - kind of stupid there. No wonder there are so many open to rent. This is no way to run the place. And he tells me they can't seem to find someone in town to run the place. As far as I can see they are not looking. I have looked many times in the wanted section of the news paper and online with employment Canada - nothing posted in both of them that I can see. I know people qualified to do the job - hell if I could climb the stairs I could do this job. I can fix a tone of things and do book keeping and banking. I have management training and the whole nine yards... Oh well, I can't physically do it anymore, so I am out... But still it should be less difficult than they say it is.
It all leads me to believe that they are not trying to fill the empty apartments and that they are not wanting to keep the place up at all. Makes me wonder if they are just trying to empty the place and re-develop as so many others have told me they think Zarkor rants to do. Oh well time will see. I just hope I can get placed by Moose Jaw housing sooner rather than later. No stairs would be very nice. Peace out :)
