BUT, many companies still do the practice. I also got hit with a $100 charge to disconnect my cable and internet from SaskTel. There was this thing in the fine print that said you had to have the cable for a year or there is a $100 charge. WELL I literally did not see it and got dinged. Still going to Shaw for the services has saved me well more than that.Dave Nicholsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17055266381604457242noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5683248557101510546.post-19897768395611513822015-08-18T11:39:49.942-06:002015-08-18T11:39:49.942-06:00Had a similar thing happen to me, a few years ago,...Had a similar thing happen to me, a few years ago, T-Mobile was offering internet service on their phones for a month's trial for 10 bucks per phone, regularly, 40 bucks. The wife wanted to try it, I was not warm to the idea, saying that, beware, after the month is up, you better be on their butts, to cancel the service. You guessed it, month was up and we played hell, trying to cancel the internet on the phone and the, cancel order, kept bouncing around and we kept getting charged for it with the service not active any more. When ever I see, Free, but, you have to give them a charge card number, I run the other way ... FAST!54shadowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13469828703168706340noreply@blogger.com
