July Blogging Challenge Day 11

Have I done anything to make someone else happy today?

I go out of my way to do this every day. I am sure it gives the opposite result for some people who are bitter and filled with self hate and loathing, but for the most part - I think what I put out into the world is at least a bit of a smile for most people who encounter it.

All of the content I share online and the messages I send tend to be aimed at improving peoples day to some extent. I'm a very supportive and giving person. This does sound like tooting my own horn, and it probably is - but it's the truth. I care and I want to improve the day of others when they see what I put out there.

Let me end with, "I love you and I think you are worthy."

  Rampage Coffee Co. is located in Saskatoon Saskatchewan and is a small batch coffee roasting company that makes 3 different and very unique blends. The company is still small and the owners still work in other jobs. They are also very community minded and donate part of the profits to upstart artists, musicians and the like. Today I fired up a fresh ground pot of "Riot Coffee". I had to say it was a very enjoyable experience. There was a very fresh taste to the coffee, a lot more fresh that I have ever had the pleasure to experience in the past. Also had hints of caramel and chocolate in the background. The acidity was low compared to a lot of coffee I have had and it was only slightly bitter. It was a smooth cup of coffee and the aroma was wonderful and full bodied. Playing Castle of the Winds 1 and 2 on a 64 bit Windows Machine (And Cheats)

Below is information on how to run COTW 1 and 2 on a 64 bit windows machine. As well there is saved game hack info you can use or not. At the bottom is some helpful hints on starting the game. The above image is a screen cap of the COTW 2 village where you start. The games are simple, but actually challenging if you do not cheat. You can play Castle of the Winds 1 and 2 on a 64 bit windows box with the emulator OTVDM . It's rather easy to find the games on abandonware sites. If you want to cheat on the game, you will need a hex editor, I recommend Hexinator . Download and unzip OTVDM then copy the COTW folders into it. Then do the following: Copy folder where you want it to be. Häagen-Dazs Pralines & Cream Ice Cream - Review

Häagen-Dazs Pralines & Cream Ice Cream is as all of the brand, normally expensive, but I got this on sale for $5. A Praline is a candied Pecan. They are soft for a nut and sugared as heck. The taste is just what you would expect if you put sugar and caramel on a Pecan. The top of the container had a bunch of caramel on top (syrup like) and not much anywhere else in the ice cream. However it fills your mouth with the taste of it and you keep tasting it long after you finish the ice cream. This is a very pleasant treat to say the least. It's top quality and above the norm for ice cream. It was however not as rich as I expected it would be for some reason. There where a lot of nuts in the container, but not too many - I think there was just enough to satisfy the nut lover in me (I heard you snicker!) The taste is exceptional, but not over the top good.
