How do animals kept in zoos make you feel?

It makes me feel sad as hell. I hate the thought of animals in cages like that. Things like lions and tigers and stuff  deserve to have a hell of  a lot more room to move around.

But this is not a perfect world, and there are animals that now only exist in zoos. Thanks to humanity being so destructive, greedy, and kill crazy, these animals would be gone from the earth it they where not still alive in zoos.

I have to admit that life is a lot more easy for an animal in a zoo. They don't have to hunt for food or compete with more health animals. They also don't have to worry about something hunting them or generally trying to do them in.

Still my brain wants them to be free and in nature like was intended by the creator. I'll never set foot in a zoo again in my life. It's been since the 1970's since I have and I never will again. I find it heart breaking. Even as a child it made me sad to see them in cages.

We have made the cages nicer and there are no bars between us and the animals, but they are still penned up and never to be free.

Yes I realize that if they are born in a zoo, they are not missing being in the wild, as they have never known freedom. But it hurts my soul that they are in there, and I can't help that.

    Good reply. I feel the same. It's just sad . They need to run and be free. but crazy humans would rather see them on their wall or big plush rugs! Then when taken as pets and they do harm to someone , they are put down.

Coffee Is A Big Part Of My Life

A nice cup of coffee is a great thing to say the least. Well this is discount coffee, but It's not terrible. It's the store brand from Real Canadian Superstore. It comes in a large yellow container. There is rather a lot of it in the container, and it is not going to keep fresh for the rest of the month, but that's OK I guess. The stuff is not terrible, in fact it's better than most of the coffee I've had when out for coffee with friends. It's not close to Lavazza of course, but what is that is not supper expensive. I've been sent coffee that was worse than this stuff and was far more expensive for the person sending it, and not enjoyed it as much as the No Name coffee (that's the brand name.) I find coffee to be a great joy and I have cut down to one strong cup of coffee a day, but I really need to be having that one cup. It is my pleasure for starting the day with. CANADIAN TV SHOWS OF THE 1970'S

The Fifth Estate (1976 - Still Going) Documentary, News This was a show that I remember my Mom and Dad watching once a week. Later in life I watched it as well. I no longer watch it as I’m no longer interested in news. At the time in the 70’s I did not really get what it was all about, I just wanted to be with my parents while they watched it. My brother never did stay for it if I remember correctly. Hockey Night in Canada (1952 - Still Going) Sports Dad watched this all the time in the 70’s and 80’s then just kind of stopped. I now watch it on my own. I love Hockey and CFL (Canadian Football). At the time I just was there for it – was not interested in sports until I was much older. Häagen-Dazs Coffee Ice Cream - Review

Häagen-Dazs Coffee Ice Cream is typically expensive but I got this on sale for $5. Well, for the name alone, you expect this to be the best coffee ice cream ever, but it was not. I've had many that compare directly to this one. It's not as rich as I remember from years ago when we used to get the brand for a treat. The coffee flavor was overpowering the ice cream taste. Plus side, it's a good size for one person to munch down if you ask me. It tastes good. Minus side, it's expensive for what you get. It's not the most premium tasting I've had. I was expecting it to be more rich, and I was disappointed. This being said, it's better than a some I've had for comparable prices. I'm going to give it a 6.5/10. It needs to be richer, and less powerful on the coffee taste.

July Blogging Challenge Day 12

Write one thing that made me feel loved today. These shortbread cookies by Walker's. A friend sent them to me as a gift off of my Amazon Wishlist and I feel very loved by this. She is one of the nicest people I've ever encountered. She goes far out of her way to help other people. Right now she is very loaded down with helping family and it's a big deal in her life. But she took the time to show me some love and I appreciate it deeply. She is one of the people I love like family that I've never met face to face. I'd love to have a coffee with her some day - but It's 99% of a chance I will never be able to do that. She is a blessing to all who knows her and one in many millions.
