Another bat got in. OK I know how they get in here - threw the vent in the wall in the boiler room. But how the hell do they get in apartments? The doors are kind of low to the floor on this floor at least. We are talking 1/8th of an inch. Can they squish down that flat? I think this is the 4th one since I moved in. But it happens in the fancy places too - so ya know... Oh oh oh - when I lived in the stad apartments (glad I am out of there) I had 2 doors. Front and back. The back opened onto the parking lot (building is L shaped). I had it open while I got some stuff out of the car one day and I came back with load number two and here is a cat on my counter looking at me. LOL. That was easy though... Pet cat, pick up cat, put cat outside, close door :) The guy across the hall tells me the people to the north of me are moving out. Well let me tell ya something, They been there for 2 years and I think I heard them a total of 4 times ever. They have a kid and I ain't neve

Outside in the sun. After coffee I did not even have my jacket on.  A bit of mud but no snow here...  No more snow...  On the hunt... Killer squirrel... Bird eating a squirrel. Never seen this kind of thing before.

The bins don't seem to be standing up to our winters. Not only that, the tops of the large ones seem to bread easily. The one in the centre is for the building next to where I live. They are using ours at the moment as they have yet to replace this one after 3 weeks of it being broken. Ours has a split in the side and it's a matter of time until it's toast as well. The person who collects seems to squeeze the hell out of them with the robot arm they use to put empty them into the truck. Really don't think that is needed.

 Lots of folks here seem to leave the shoes in the hall. It keeps things cleaner inside the apartment you see. I am just not able to do it LOL. I don't trust the world enough. So I track the dirt in instead :)  Long shot of the hall from my door. Me in the hall outside my door. We have replaced God with money and resources. We now worship the rich and give fame to a select few who can do no better than millions of other people. It's strange to me that actors and politicians and just rich people have such a following. These are people who generally do way less than poor people do for the community. We have killed many in the name of resources and gone to war to make them safe. We also looked the other way when hundreds of thousands where being killed in a brutal manner all in the name of tribal identity. After all they did not have resources to offer us. Sooner or later instead off killing in the name of a God or a King we will be doing it to secure limited resources such as drinking water and minerals. We will hide behind the banner of our freedoms and say they are a threat to us. We have already done so after all. The threat of terror was invented by the meddling into of foreign powers in the name of freedom because we did not want the communists to get

The lobby at the building where my G.P. has his offices. The elevators are down right small and downright old. No way to get a scooter in there. They made the front of the building accessible then the elevators are still the old ones. It's a nice looking place though put up in the 1930's all brick on the outside and nice inside. The bench is from a church in town and is almost 100 years old and still in perfect shape. How many bits of furniture do we own that will last that long?

Long grain rice from India. Packaged for the Co-op but is also available in many other places. It cooks quicker than normal and is less starchy than most I have used. Not good for forming but works well as a side or in soups. Is perfect for cabbage rolls as well. No infused flavours just good white rice. I rate this product 9/10.

4 of these darn things set me back $90.11. They did not work at all. No better than an Advil. Dang if I only know. I would have used the extra $90.11... Oh well. A friend uses them though and she swears by them. They are for migraines BTW.

Seriously, it's parked across 2 handicap spots. What is the target market here? If your a selfish asshole who does not care about disabled people, then we want to be the ones to outfit your penis extension. How in the mind of anyone with the ability to empathise is this an acceptable advert?
