Final Puzzle Count

Image
Got them all sorted out and now I've got exactly 3000 of them and they are all sorted and saved to multiple hard drives and the cloud. I will continue to save the puzzles I have done from time to time, so I don't lose them if I need to reinstall.

A Puzzle and an Old Photo

Image
308 pieces and 34 minutes. About average for me. This was a fun one to do. I see in the same folder there is a couple other puzzles with boats. I like boats, but have rarely been on one.  A photo from a building that had been renovated quite a lot since this photo was taken. I was amazed how much money they put into it, but was told there was a change in the bylaw to make it imposable to tare it down and build a new one.

Working Is Not Your Right

Image
I hate saying this because it effects people I find to be very good human beings in a negative manner (they get fired or can't get a job). I also 100% stand up for their right to choose not to get the Vaxx if they don't want it, even if I totally disagree with that action. I don't have to support their choices to care about them. There are a lot of people complaining that they got fired for not getting the Vaxx or they can't get a job because it's a requirement. They claim this is a violation of their "right to work" and takes away their freedom of choice. Nothing can be farther from the truth. It's your implicit right to not take it. Not one person on earth is going to come and hold you down and make you get it if you don't want it. Here is the deal, if I don't have the ability or training to do the job, is it a violation of my right to work? Are they taking away my right not to get the training? No they are not. To work for a business or even

Friend Could Not Believe I Typed That Fast

Image
I remember telling a friend "I can type 80 wpm". He could not believe that was even possible. I literally showed him with a typing test program on the computer. I got 83 wpm and a 98% accuracy rate. He thought I was cheating LOL. His mother had worked in an office for many many years and could only do about 40, so he thought that was the human limit. I showed him job listings where they literally ask for 80 wpm minimum. He just literally left my apartment LOL. BTW My spelling seems to have gotten way worse over the years. Oh and I used to know a woman who could type 120 wpm. It was amazing to see. Internet chat with her was fun, just poof there is a long reply all the sudden. I've also slowed down, I bet I'm only about 60 wpm now.

Blogger Font Size Bug

Image
Just noticed this but a few months ago here on Blogger. It happens when you set the text size other than the default and then set the text to Justify. The last paragraph will be set to "Largest". You have to select the last paragraph again then set it to the size of text you want, in my case "Large". It's one of the less annoying bugs that has happened on here, but it's there.

When Someone With Way More Complains About Money

Image
That moment you hear someone complaining about money and you know they have way the hell more than you have. So the person in question was literally given a house. He literally makes 5X a month (after taxes) than I do. He also never goes anywhere or does anything. He tends to stay home alone all the time. "The hell are you spending all your money on", is all I have to say. How can you possibly be broke, you don't even go out to eat because you don't want to be around people. There has to be something I'm not seeing here. The person also works from home BTW. Got not one clue why they say they have no money. It's a case of someone who is massively exaggerating their finances or they have some kind of spending habit I don't know about. Either way, just WTH? Honestly, I try not to judge people, because you just never know what is going on, but just wow on this one. They don't have any living relatives either, so they is not a source of funds flowing out. O

YouTube Music Voice Search Censors Swear Words

Image
This is a screen shot from my phone of YouTube Music when I used the voice search option (tapping the mic in the top right). Well there seems to be no way on earth to make it stop censoring "bad words". It also is not intelligent enough to search what you said, but the blanked out version of it is what it searches. Thus you do not get what you are looking for. The Google voice to text and voice search can be set on your android phone to NOT do this. I don't have a clue why YouTube would not have the option to not have this happen. If a person relies on voice search because of physical limitations, they are out of luck to search things like "Fuck the System" by System of a Down.

Got My Steps in and a Memory

Image
First off, for a normal person this is not that big a deal, but when you are as disabled as me, it is. I can hardly walk to the kitchen some days. I spent a week before this only clocking in about 350 steps as it hurt too much to walk far. So for 2 days in a row to get over my goal of 1000 steps is great. I got a lot done yesterday, like cleaning all the stuff out of here that needed tossing out, or recycling. This is a memory from the day I moved in here about 5 years ago. This is candy bags in the entry way of my building from a funeral home, I guess they where trying to drum up business. The thing is, almost everyone in this building is going to be a state funeral, so it's pointless. We don't have money to play it out in advance and for the most part have no relatives to spend the money planting our dead bodies. Personally, I just want to be cremated and dumped in an unmarked grave and forgotten.

Yeah, That's a Scam

Image
Have you noticed that there has been a wild jump in the amount of scams going around on Facebook and in spam emails? This is so obviously a scam. There is just no way you are getting a new in the box Dell for $59.95 shipped. Just not going to happen. They would be spending more money to ship it to you than they make off of you. Even if they got them for FREE, this would not make sense. First clue is they cannot use English properly. Second clue, the logo is almost the same as the original AT&T logo. Third, it's a stock clipart image from a free site that has been cropped to hide the watermark. The vast majority of licensed resellers would also have a recognizable company name like "Staples" for example. He is the thing, I live in Canada. This one is a double hit. First it tells you someone wants to give you half a million dollars. Then it says it's some kind of security risk to the USA and if you do not provide all your personal data, they will come and arrest you

It's Not Counting All My Steps

Image
I been trying to count my steps with the phone, as I'm using it to track weight and several other things anyway. It seems it's NOT counting all my steps. I figured it was very short on the count the other day and counted out 60 steps and it had recorded 12 of them. I have my goal set to 1,000 only as I'm about 10% as able to move around as an average person who's goal would be 10,000 steps. Now I know why I have been falling short to say the least. So I guess in reality I'm probably doing better than I thought I would be. I'm using a Galaxy A50 and I don't have a fitness watch.

12 Horror Movies From the 1970's I Loved and You May Never Have Heard Seen

Image
The Creeping Flesh (1973) 9/10 A scientist discovers a giant skeleton and finds the flesh will grow back if water is spilled on it. He then becomes convinced that it’s the origin of evil and that evil is a disease of the blood. At the end of the movie there is a rather large plot twist, and you are left wondering if any of it is real or not. Deranged: Confessions of Necrophilia (1974) 9/10 After the death of his mother a farmer becomes a grave robber and murderer. He keeps the bodies in his house as well as the body of his mother. Summer of Fear (1978) 8/10 After her cousin moves in the house, a woman starts to think she is a witch using dark magic. Sisters (1972) 7/10 Struggles ensue after a woman tries to convince the police she saw a murder across the street in another apartment. This is like Rear Window but with the twist of the woman getting involved. Willard (1971) 7/10 A man discovers he can control rats and uses them for revenge. In the end it did not go so well for him.
