WEIGHT LOSS UPDATE

Image
Well after all the stuff I oinked out on the past week, I only managed to gain 2.4 lbs. This is interesting because Wed. I weighed myself and I was up 6.8 - so magically over night I dropped several pounds. But I'll take it. Now I got to try and keep on tract for Christmas - because I know that will be a bit of an atrocity as well.

WHEN STUFF VANISHES OFF THE PLANET - AKA WHERE THERE HELL ARE ALL MY PENS?

Image
This is my stapler. There are many like it, but this one is mine... Any 1 person reading this will get the difference (to 2 different movies). So my old stapler was a bit smaller and blue. I had it for years. I had an almost full box of staples for the freaking thing. Well one day I went to find my nice blue stapler. It was not in it's spot. I searched the entire desk. I think looked in every place it might be. I then looked in boxes that have not been opened in 2 years or more. It was gone. The next day I tossed the apartment looking for it and searched every location there is - literally everywhere. Nope it was gone. So what was I going to do? I needed a stapler in the next 2 days. So after going for coffee I went and got this $2 stapler to replace it. I get it home, pull it out of the packaging and open the desk to put it where the old one used to be. Can you guess it? Yup there was the old one. Here is the good part - a friend looked in the desk as well

THE GOOD OLD DAYS OF 8 BIT GAMING

Image
I feel like an 8 bit video game today. The theme to my day so far has been something you where hear on the Commodore 64 in a splash screen for one of them dungeon hack games. Ya know I played a lot of them kind of things in the day. All the SSI AD&D games. I like the Dragon Lance ones the best I think, even if some of the monsters where super hard for the level of the players you had by the time you encountered them. I miss those days, but oddly enough I have no desire to play games 99.5% of the time. Before getting the new PC I was using an XP box and I got to play Castle of the Winds on it. I love that game. I wish I could get it to play on my Windows 10 Box without going threw hell to do it. That reminds me, We got hold of a legacy edition of the SSI games on CD's for modern PC's. The thing is, they where not modified in any way accept to run on the new windows. The timing loops in the games where made for systems that where running at 8mhz not 2.4ghz - so

A DAY IN PHOTOS AND I MISS MY DEAD FRIEND

Trash out back. Both bins have been out for 2 days, kind of wonder how full the shaft for the garbage shoots is.  This pencil is a long way from home. Found it in the laundry room. Japanese cherry tree by the court house. There used to be three of them there and now there is only the one. These are not tasty I'm told. Not actually tried them though. The kind of look like a mini apple up close. They are also quite small - 1/4 inch across. Same tree, different angle. I used to live in the building in the back of the shot. The top two windows by the end where from a friends apartment. He died in there at the age of fifty six. He was a hoarder and the place was a hell of a mess. He liked to jump in the dumpsters and take things home - this included bad food that would make him sick. No matter how many times we told him not to do it, he kept doing it. He ended up getting stabbed by a dirty needle in the dumpster and got hepatitis C. That caused him to have a great deal o

MY IDEA OF THE PERFECT VEGGIE SUB

This is my perfect veggie sub - I love these things. There is almost no protein in this thing, but it's tasty... and oh yeah, carbs. You can skip the bun, toss it in a bowl and mix it all up instead though.
