What is your favorite movie of all time? THX1138 I'm rather sure most people have never seen it, but I love that movie.

Talk about a restaurant or business you like locally. I can't find the photos I took of the place and I'm not spending an hour looking. But R&S Family Restaurant is an amazing place to eat. They do NOT have a bottomless cup of coffee, but the quality of the food is over the top. I know the S in R&S and she is amazing. I am so glad they have made it big. They have 2 places open now and they have the dream farm they always wanted. the food is amazing to say the least. Like Bobs Burgers, they do a Burger of the Day. This to me is cool. They also have the best poutine in the city. They are technically out of the city, but they are the best in town if you ask me.

Where is the most beautiful place you have every been? Banff National Park. Nothing I ever see will be better than that place. I was there when I was 10, then when I was an adult, I went back myself in the summer and in the winter. In the winter it was off the rails amazing.

Sunrise or sunset and why. Sunrise. It feels better to watch the day start, than it does to watch it end. There is a pleasure to the end of a long day, but the start of the day is fresh and new. There are possibilities to come, other than just sleep. The symbolism of the colorful sky turning into a fresh day is like the birth of something special in my mind. In my youth, when I was out partying at a friends farm or in the woods some place, it was a joy to see the sun go down, as it meant a night of revelry - but now the start of the day, from a quiet state of beauty to the buys and noisy day to come, is far more pleasant to me.

Talk about someone you admire. There are a couple of people I admire a lot for the same reason. They have done a lot for other people. They go out of their way to help those who need it. One in particular I think is a hero if you ask me. They not only do a lot for others, they bust their but for people who where not there for them when they could have used help. To still not turn your back on those people when it's their turn to need help, it commendable in an extreme. In this one case, they gave a good portion of their savings to help someone who lost it all. Not many people would do that, even for a relative. They have helped many people in their lives, and I'm one of them. If anyone will be blessed in the after life, it's them. NOTE: The thumbnail is totally unrelated to todays topic, but I thought I'd toss it in there.

This is a memory from a camping trip I took many years ago. The was a place that served these 16OZ mug zombie (very strong drink). They where like $12 back in 1986 (a lot then). Well if you drank 2 you got 2 more free. The catch is, you had to come to the bar yourself and get them and it had to be at least 15 minutes between them. Well I got a 4 down me in the hour I was in the lounge, but I could not count to potato after. In fact I needed help back to my tent.

Review a product you often use. My Samsung A54 is something I use many times a day. It has enough power to do anything I want. I sure as heck don't need the Flagship S series like my friend seems to think he needs. He uses his phone even less than I do, so I don't really get why he's paying way more to pay off his S24. The A54 has a 2.4GHZ octo core processor that does anything I want it to do. It's way more power than I need, and even when editing video, it blazes through the task. The Almond display is wonderful and very easy to read. It's only 1080P but why the hell do you need 4K display on something so small - there is no possibility at all you can tell the difference, you're fooling yourself if you think you can. And with a refresh rate of 120HZ, I never notice the scan rate. The 5000 mAh battery is enough for most people, but being a very heavy user, I need to change it twice a day. Unfortunately the recent upgrade to UI 7 seems to have the battery runnin...

This is how the plumber left the place. The tote is heavy and I hurt my back putting it back. As well, I have to wonder if that pipe should be open like that or not. I got no idea what the hell it is, so I don't know. There is one of those mechanical plugs in my tub and he pulled it out and I can't get it back in, so it's a hazard to possibly step on it when I'm in the tub showering. I can't get up from the tub, so I only shower, but if I step on it, I'm going to get hurt. I'm not all that impressed to say the least.  

What you hate about summer ending. It means winter is coming. Fall is kind of short in my aria. Then it's time for ice and bitter cold. I feat ice because I can fall on it very easy. If I fall, I'll be hurt badly.

A game you like to or used to like to play as a kid. Snakes and ladders way the game I liked the most. The one I liked the least was monopoly, In my entire life I've never won a game of monopoly.

It’s been a hell of a ride for years to say the least. I’ve gone a lifetime (more or less) trying to brighten others day, and to help how I can when I can. The reward is a feeling of self-worth, but it comes at a cast in our society filled with evil. Below is a conversation between me and a friend. Me: I'm disillusioned with this world of ours. It's easy and rewarding to be bad. We glorify crime, violence, hate, racism and all things evil. But those who want to be good will most likely struggle all their lives. It's the cunning employee with malice in his heart that gets promoted even though the good person is more qualified. If you spread love you, and you get attacked by so many out there. Talk about the music you like now. I'm rather all over the place with music and have been since my 20's. There is a wide range of music I like. A number of different styles. Classic metal, modern metal, country, classic and contemporary rock, techno, and more. Hell I even listen to classical music at times. Mostly, in the last few months, I've been listening to a lot of soft rock from the 70's and 80's. It just seems to hit the spot right now.

Ever notice if you spread positivity on the internet, people will hate you for it? I find that so stupid. The idea of "if I'm angry everyone needs to be angry", is dumb on a profound level. Most people are nice on the internet, but the jerks make 80% of the noise. Such small minded thinking. No wonder they are so easily led by monsters. They have very little ability to reason.

I know, this is not my nudist blog, but it ties in to having the gift of self worth in a big way. From an early age in life I was allowed (and so my brother, and father) to roam the house nude in the evenings. We we in essence nudists. We never went to camps or beaches of the nudist variety, but it's just what we where. I don't think dad put a label on it other than, "it's natural." Mother on the other hand did not want to be nude at all. She had a lot of Catholic guilt built up in her mind, and it kept her from being free. Later in life I started to go to venues like camps, lakes and even a couple of resorts. It was great. I went to a hell of a lot of weekend stays at a friends farm where several of us would live the nudist life and be free. This gave me the give of accepting my body and not caring about what others thought about it. There was a short time in my teens that I felt uncomfortable with my body, but this seems to be normal from what I've been seei...

How did you meet your best friends? She was invited to coffee by a friend. I started talking to her and we hit if off right away. We met up many times at Tim Hortons near me, and talked for hours. Eventually she came to my place and we had coffee and laughed for hours. There was nothing about either of us the other one did not know in the end. We had the same personality and the same interests. We were the same person in a different body. I don't think I was ever closer to a person in my life. To be honest, if we had met 20 or 30 years ago, I'm kind of sure we would have ended up married. Tragically, she had a bad seizure and it ended up killing her. A lot of people don't know that can happen, but it sure can, sadly. I will always miss her, until we see each other again in the afterlife.

Talk about your love or an Ex. What can I say. I had 3 women that I thought I loved. In the end when they moved in, they ended up to be controlling, manipulative and in once case physically abusive. One was full on crazy and when I booted her out, she ended up siting on my steps for days and I'd call the cops and the next day there she way. She soon latched onto some other poor soul, and I was free of her. I gave up on the having a life partner after the 3rd failed attempt. But that being said, I probably could have spent my life with my best friend (who died) if I had met her 20 or 30 years before. We were of the same spirit and of the same mind. I miss her so deeply. But in the end I'll die alone here in my apartment I think. They check on us in the morning, so I won't be dead on the floor for more than a day. It's all good.

Who are you? I’m a disabled person who loved to do digital art – mostly fractals. I have a passion for helping people when I can and in the ways I can. I’ve spent a lifetime doing just that. I live to make people’s day a little bit better and do several things every day to do just that, even when I’m in terrible pain. That brings me to the fact that I’ve been living in chronic pain for about 28 years now, and at times it’s absolutely terrible. I’ve done many jobs in my life. Working in a graveyard, selling vacuums and several others. I enjoyed working in an antique style print shop, and most of all I enjoyed working as a cook. That was my longest job. I watched both my parents die – I was there for them always. For Mom I almost ended up in the hospital taking care of her, and it took a part of me when she passed. She was in a care home for just over a year when she died. It was the hardest thing I have ever done to watch her rot away and lose her mind, then die blind and def. I’ll neve...

My good friend just sent me some stuff off my wish list. I'm so happy for this. She is a wonderful person and a blessing to so many people. I'm very grateful for this. The coffee will be most welcomed, as I'm out and it's a long time to payday - as well the cheep stuff I was getting is just not that good in comparison to Lavazza. And 6 bags of snacks to enjoy. This will be such a welcome treat.  I have bad days often with my health and my mental illness - so it's a blessing from the Lord to have such good friends in my life. They make me happy, they get me out of a depression, they support me when I am in need of a kind word. I am truly blessed. Some people have money and big houses and titles and such. I have something way better, Love and friendship. As we have seen with a couple of super rich people as of late, friendship is not real when you have a crap pile of money.

I Am Reminded: This is said to be a sign that an angel or a dead loved one is looking down on you from heaven. Mom really did believe this and actually said a prayer ever time she saw 11:11 on a clock. She believed in a lot of things like this. Being she was super Catholic, you would think she would not at first - however I know several Catholics are are superstitious as heck. In any event, I believe that I will see my parents again one day after death. I am not all that sure about my brother, he lead a very bad life, and screwed over a hell of a lot of people and did a lot of bad with his life. But anyway, I think of mom every time I see 11:11 on the clock - I have to admit, it happens a lot when I'm thinking of her - there is the idea that I'm just noticing it more because I'm thinking of her though. It's interesting that government statistics show extremely few mass shootings in the USA, but independent sources show vastly more.  So is gun control actually working in Canada, or is our culture just way less violent minded? I don't have enough data on that point to tell. I just know that over 90% of illegal guns in Canada are smuggled from the USA. I guess we need to tell the Americans to stop fucking around and police their boarders better. Oh wait, that's our job, just like it's their job to police drugs flowing into their country...
