I spent a good deal of late nights at Rodos on the highway. There where open 24 hours until they closed for good. They only shut down on Christmas day. It was a place that many people I know in Moose Jaw went to and socialized. After the bar let out at 2am, they would get a spike in customers and people would order food and coffee. We would hang out and talk about everything that came to mind and a lot of jokes where said, and a lot of gossip was spread. The strange part of it is how many people would come with their kids until midnight. I'm talking little children not yet in school even. We joked that we where going to sell t-shirts in children's sizes that said, "raised at Rodos." The staff where always friendly as heck and always chatted with people. They where good with bringing the coffee around and it did not matter that you had been there 5 hours and it was you 24th cup of coffee, they still filled your cup for one small price. It's bloody cold out there today and  has been for 3 days. My body does not want to be in this nonsense. It's cold in my apartment but then again I'm cold most of the time - it's just I'm seriously cold right now. The heat is not keeping up to this as the building is from 1974 and the giant windows let in a tone of cold air (they are not very energy efficient). I remember it being -40c to -50c at times in January as a kid. In -30c weather we would go sledding on the hill 8 blocks from where I lived and we would walk there to do it. It did not bother us at all. In fact would make snow forts and have snowball fights. As a teen I'd venture out in weather like this to hang out with friends as well. No snowballs or sledding, but we would hang out in the back yard and talk for an hour before we got too cold and all went home. Banana Chili Ingredients: 4 ripe bananas (sliced) 1 large onion (diced) 4 cloves garlic (minced) 2-3 chili peppers (chopped) 1/4 cup fresh cilantro (garnish) 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 teaspoon cumin 1 teaspoon paprika 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste) 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 2 cups vegetable broth 1 can black beans (drained and rinsed) Prep: 1. Begin by slicing the 4 ripe bananas into bite-sized pieces and set them aside. 2. Finely chop 1 large onion and mince 4 cloves of garlic. 3. Remove the stems and seeds from 2-3 chili peppers and chop them into small pieces, adjusting the number based on your heat preference. 4. Rinse and drain 1 can of black beans and prepare 1/4 cup of fresh cilantro by roughly chopping it. Cooking: 1. In a large pot, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil on medium heat. 2. Add the chopped onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent. 3. Add the minced garlic and chopped chili peppers, stirring for 1-2 minutes. 4. Is it just me or are people getting dumber all the time? It does seem to be the way it is. There are actual studies out there that seem to have been done the correct way, and not just slanting toward an agenda, that say people are actually getting less intelligent over the years. The fact that AI teaches nothing at all and people don't tend to learn if they use AI is not helping at all.  The old way of looking stuff up and reading about it online seems to have had an impact on our brains and we learned things and skills from it. But not from AI, as soon as we use the knowledge it tells us, it's gone from out brains. The fact that most people in collage in the USA are now using AI to write papers is bullshit. They have not one clue about the subject material and have learned nothing. Some professors are marking them low for it and others are passing them. So now we have so called professionals out there that have no idea how to do their job, but they have AI to rely on to help t...

You have to realize that a large number of people have posted photos or MEME in the group with no text with them at all ( See Below ). So why is mine specifically being removed? The point of this MEME in the group should be 100% obvious to anyone with an IQ over that of a potato. The group deals with aging and chronic issues surrounding aging such as references in the MEME. This is going above and beyond to enforce the letter of a rule and not the spirit of the rule. It is in fact a power trip if you ask me. As mentioned, this one and many others where approved to show in the group by the mods. All images must be approved. But mine was not even know it's the same bloody thing in essence.
