People Are Getting Dumber

Is it just me or are people getting dumber all the time? It does seem to be the way it is. There are actual studies out there that seem to have been done the correct way, and not just slanting toward an agenda, that say people are actually getting less intelligent over the years.

The fact that AI teaches nothing at all and people don't tend to learn if they use AI is not helping at all.  The old way of looking stuff up and reading about it online seems to have had an impact on our brains and we learned things and skills from it. But not from AI, as soon as we use the knowledge it tells us, it's gone from out brains.

The fact that most people in collage in the USA are now using AI to write papers is bullshit. They have not one clue about the subject material and have learned nothing. Some professors are marking them low for it and others are passing them.

So now we have so called professionals out there that have no idea how to do their job, but they have AI to rely on to help them with that. The problem here is that if they are asking AI over and over how to do their job, productivity is lost.

The fact that places like the USA are actually making it harder for kids to learn stuff is also bullshit. Cutting funding for education and telling them they can't learn a tone of things like history or about the literal reality that LGBTQ people exist is bullshit. When you limit education you limit the growth of the mind and the skills that they will need later in life.

So to me, this seems to be engendered. Technology given to us by the rich and powerful who pushed to have it in the public hands, and the limiting of learning seem to have collided with the media trying to feed lies and political bias to people to manifest a society of lower IQ people.

Hell, this is not new, I started to notice in the 80's when we started to cater to the dumber people, society started to dip toward being less intelligent and it's gotten worse slowly since.

Face it, we need to put warning labels on food products not to eat the packaging FFS. It's all gone wrong and the few left with the ability to reason for themselves are in a living hell with a world around them that they know is trying to dumb us down to control us while at the same time putting us on starvation wages and telling us that over 90% of the wealth being hoarded but less than 1% of people is somehow making our lives better. The fact that at least half of humanity believes this shit tells you that people on average are not that bright.

I'm just glad that I'll be dead in the next 20 years and gone before it gets all too bad in the form of a society of the super rich and powerful controlling the working class completely for their gain, and those who can't work being either eliminated or tossed out to die somewhere.

Sigh - DANG I'm glad I never had kids.
