Had Some Fun With My Points

Broke out the last of my Points at Superstore for this bottle of vodka. It was less than $5 with my points. It's actually less than the Lok(e)l I normally get. I think I'll just stop in there to get this brand from now on when I'm in the mood for a bit of drinking. With the price of EVERYTHING going up and up, that won't be often, but once or twice a month maybe.

Also broke out the last of my points at Rexall. I for four bags of chips and a tub of ice cream. The total for everything I got that day was less than $6. So I got a heck of a fun time for not much money. However, it will take 8 months to get enough points to do it again. Going to be cutting back on fun stuff for at least a couple months - no pizza for example, just a couple bags of chips for a treat. The drinking is already down to 1 or 2 times a month only, and half the time or more, it's only 1 time when I get paid. I'm very grateful to have the opportunity to enjoy myself like this even once a month, other can't at all. Times are hard and the government is not raising minimum wage, or benefits for those on Disability or Welfare. A raise in benefits all around is needed, including old age and Guaranteed Income Supplement.
