Got the One Time Housing Benefit


 Well I qualified for the $500 and it will be here tomorrow (this is the 14th). It will allow me to get my new TV I am in need of and with luck some sweat pants on the cheep. I'm rather annoyed that it is only online that you can get in on this with. The majority of older people I know have no access to the internet and they need the money just as much as I do. This is a heck of a fail on the part of the Liberal Party of Canada. Next month is the usual credits that I get every 4 months and they also very much help to offset the taxes I pay on items and the increased prices because of the carbon tax on shipping. Unfortunately, it does not totally cancel out the extra I pay out and trust me I'm low income. It seems in all the so called civilized countries, it is on the backs of the poor to pay out the biggest amount in tax when you scale it to their income. For some reason a great number of people thing somehow the rich getting tax breaks is good for the poor. The logic is totally flawed, but the do think it. Well, I just hope right now, they change it so people can apply in the mail or on the phone. As well most I talked to, never even heard of this extra $500. Sigh. But all I can really do it tell people.

    they know what they are doing, they bank on a bunch of people not knowing and never applying, thats government for you. dont get a TCL lol my TCL in the bedroom just exploded lol it is only 2 years old.

      Was planing on TCL it's eat I have money for. I don't have $1000 for a samsung. Sigh.

      did you look at HiSense? I mean I didnt have any problems until I did with TCL maybe get the extended warranty if you can

      Found a hisense for the same price but only 5 in stock. Might be Monday before I can order it, so I just hope they still have one.

      Hisense is better than some of the Samsung models, they also come with their own included streaming service, at least here in the US.

SAID Did Not Handle It at All

I'm actually extremely more sad than angry. I put a lot of energy into trying to get an advance, but it seems doomed to not happen, no matter how much I need it. Mar 13, 2024 I email SAID (disability in Saskatchewan). Mar 15, 2024 Left a voice mail. Mar 18, 2024 left another voice mail. Mar 20, 2024 got a call telling me they would process the advance on Mar 21, 2024. The deposit into my account should have been just after midnight on Mar 22, 2024. Well this is 6:46 am Mar 22, 2024 and I have left yet another voicemail. The money was never deposited OF COURSE. I need shoes SOON, but do you think I can get the government workers to do what they are being paid to do? Well, no I can't. Feeling Abandoned by the SAID Program (Saskatchewan Disability)

"Saskatchewan Department of Human Services" is the closest translation to Saskatchewan Social Services Department I could get. But I made them a new logo. They are the ones who run the disability here in the province. I know someone is picking up for my working not working there anymore, but it's been a LONG time and no call from them at all. I sent an email request to the email I was told to send it to. I called the number twice after that to leave a message. This is not cool from email to now is 4 working days. In all that time surly, it's my turn to be handled? I'm very upset and it's literally making me sick. So some art therapy is in order I think. To be honest I've had it a LOT better with them than the medical system to say the least, but DANG, I'm stressed out to the max and I am getting frightened that something very bad has gone wrong like thy messed up and closed my file by mistake. Medical Update (Disturbing Photo Warning)

On Dec. 31, 2023 I was laying on the floor in my apartment for 7 hours after falling when I got too drunk. I wan not able to get up and it took some time for anyone to hear me calling for help. I find it amazing that the people on either side of me, or across the hall heard nothing, but the lady way down the hall did hear me. She called an ambulance for me and I was helped off the floor with use of an air bag designed just for this task. I was taken to the hospital and seen right away. When in the hospital I was advised I needed a CT scan of my brain right away, as I'm on blood thinners and they worried about bleeding into my brain, since I could not recall falling. The CT operator in the Moose Jaw hospital was not available and I had to be taken to Regina General to have the scan. Fortunately, I did not have any bleeding in my brain. I have to say, that after being on the floor for 7 hours, if I did, I'd be dead or a salad plate by the time I was found. But better to be cautio
