Will SAID Handle It This Time?

Image
Mar 22, 2024 I called the voicemail for the SAID program I have the number for and left a message about them NOT processing my advance I wanted for shoes. Thankfully this time, it did not take 8 days  to get back to me, they got back that morning. The worker told me the other worker was not able to process it on Thursday as it was the time the system was processing the checks for the next weeks pay period. Well I was told by that worker on Wednesday that she would process it on Thursday because Wednesday was the day the system processed the checks. So there is a discrepancy there. Either she just did NOT get to it, or she had mistaken when the processing of the checks would be, I have no idea witch. But the worker who called me back on Friday told me that she would process it that day. I asked if it would be deposited on Friday, but she told me it would be Monday before it's in my account. I rather figured that would be the case. In the past, they would be in your account on the sa...

SAID Did Not Handle It at All

Image
I'm actually extremely more sad than angry. I put a lot of energy into trying to get an advance, but it seems doomed to not happen, no matter how much I need it. Mar 13, 2024 I email SAID (disability in Saskatchewan). Mar 15, 2024 Left a voice mail. Mar 18, 2024 left another voice mail. Mar 20, 2024 got a call telling me they would process the advance on Mar 21, 2024. The deposit into my account should have been just after midnight on Mar 22, 2024. Well this is 6:46 am Mar 22, 2024 and I have left yet another voicemail. The money was never deposited OF COURSE. I need shoes SOON, but do you think I can get the government workers to do what they are being paid to do? Well, no I can't. I would pray that they get the message and it somehow magically gets deposited today before 1 pm. But I am rather sure this was the last push I needed to stop believing there is a God. I am really depressed right now and exhausted. The stress of them taking so dang long to even get back to me has le...

The Unfortunate Story of Mr. J

Image
Well this is the story of a person a few of us in town know. Some of us for a long time. I actually went to school with him from K to 8. At that time the school was a bit rough but no worse that any other school in town. The problem was that Mr. J though that he was the only good person in the school and that everyone was out to harm him. Sure enough there where a couple of people that did pick on Mr. J. Those people being the victims of a bad family situation and it made them lash out. This is no justification however, just the reason. But in the mind of Mr. K. All others around him where out to cause him problems and where talking about him behind his back. You can see the problem here, as in reality he was unremarkable to the rest of the student body. In fact he blended into the wood work so well that I and many others where barely aware of him and most of us did not even know his name. Mr. J was a loner you see and unwilling to make friends. Pers...

Dear Dr. Change Your Attitude

Image
So went to see Dr. B. Ogle at the Cast Clinic here in Moose Jaw the other day. It was in regards to having this massive pain in my left knee. I was referred by the nice Doctor I saw in the ER the night it happened. The pain was terrible and I just had to go. The ER Doctor got me x-rayed and looked me over. He said I had some tendon damage and a small tare in the cartilage that was being snagged now and then when I moved the wrong way. We are talking enough pain to make me cry out loud in pain and almost hit the floor. This should be enough to make anyone want it to be looked at by a specialist and I was referred to Doctor Ogle. I had no expectations other than to be looked at by this so called professional. So after finding the cast clinic in the world, I waited and waited then was put in a room and soon seen by the Doctor. Well first thing out of his mouth was "You are very overweight". Well I had the urge to say "Oh my GOD thank you for telling me, in the 25 or ...

How I Will Survive Aggressive Cuts To Disability By An Uncaring Government So making changes to fit the new you don't got no money for anything life I am about to start and phoned up Shaw Cable... Me "Hi I would like to cancel the cable so I can afford to eat". Rep "We have packages that cast less". Me "No I need to cancel it". Rep "you are on a service agreement and we can't do that till October" Me "I want to do it in October because that's when they are cutting my disability way back". Rep "It does not look like we can schedule you that far in advance, you will have to call back in September". Me "Well OK if I have to, but it's a bit inconvenient". Rep "OK have a nice rest of your day OK". Think about it - I just said my disability is being cut way back and that it's a choice between cable and FOOD. "Have a nice rest of your day". Sigh... --- So...
