Not had tomatoes with salt and pepper for years - so I got some and had a treat. Took 3 days to eat the 5lb box of Roma tomatoes. Not nearly as good as back in the old days when I could get fresh from the garden tomatoes. The time of my youth and tomatoes from the lady down the block to eat like this. Some people out Feta cheese on it and some herbs then a sprinkle of olive oil on top. I've seen it with mint but I don't think I would like it. I tried some with Havarti cheese on it and I did not like it as mush as just plane like this. What I would not give for a few fresh tomatoes right now I tell you.

Skin infection that is not going away. As well my leg is swollen from edema as a result of living with heart failure. The week of antibiotics did nothing to stop it it seems. Tuesday I need to phone my doctor and hope I can get a phone appointment with him. I need to ask about pain meds and this infection.
