What is a nonprofit charity that you believe in? Moose Jaw Humane Society is the one I believe in. I wish I could do something to help them out, but I don't have the money or the ability to volunteer. All of my pets but one came from them. It's a kill shelter however and I find that rather sad. I wish I could save them all. If I ever hit big with money somehow, I'm very much going to set up a fund for them. Prosily even build a new building for them. Not to mention bring home a pet or two or three.

This was me several days ago. I was listening to some music and putting Jigsaw Puzzles together on the computer. I do this a lot, I really enjoy it. I've done tens of thousands of smaller puzzles on my PC over the many years I've been using Jigsaws Galore. Since I kept track (on this blog) I've done about 28K of them to date. It makes me happy to listen to music of a wide range of styles. The puzzles help with your brain they tell me, but with the amount of brain fog I have and the problems I have speaking at times, it's hard to tell it's doing me good LOL. BTW, I tend to wear only a shirt, I know, TMI. But I feel a lot more free this way. And when I'm on camera it keeps the stupid people from commenting that I don't have a shirt on, like I did not know or something.

Well here I am on Aug 5, 2008. I'm close to 500lbs, but I don't have wrinkles and my hair is black, and nor grey. I was living in a building that was at the time not bad to live in. It was inexpensive, and they kept it up. It was rather hot in the winter however and in the summer, even worse. Next door to us was one of the worst buildings in the city for crime. A lot of drug dealers there at the time. I remember the cops raiding the place one day and they literally had a bus that they where using to haul out all the people they arrested. No shock, the local news paper at the time said not one word about it. In my building where several people I really liked, including a guy I'd known for decades (since I was 9 and at the time I was in my 30s. He was not the brightest bulb in the box, but he was fun to watch movies with and he has this thing where he could recite anything Shakespeare ever published. I got this on sale for a bit less than $7 a bag (250g). It's very good and I like it a lot. The thing is, it's now almost $10 a bag. The other blends of Lavazza coffee are almost $8 a bag. Now I tend to use 5 bags a month on average for just 1 cup of coffee a day with my large Moka Pot. This has become a very large expense to say the least. Sure I can get a close to 1KG can of coffee for $16 at my local store, but it it worth the price at all? I don't think it is. If I have coffee at home, I want to be able to enjoy the hell out of it, not just use it to wake up. The entire point of coffee to me is the ritual of making it, and the great pleasure I get in consuming a very good cup of coffee. So when it's going to set me back close to $43 a bloody month to have coffee at home, I think I'll skip it to say the least. Six months ago that was about $28 a month. What do you love about your hometown? There are a lot of nice people here who are willing to help their community. There is a sense of belonging. The city is very beautiful for the most part as well - the older arias are thick with trees and it's like living in a forest. It's not too large, so it's easy to get any place you need to go in short amounts of time. For being a not so large place, the city still has a great deal of places to shop, eat, drink, and be entertained. We have a history of being a artistic community as well. The amount of artists, song writers, poets, and so on is way higher in Moose Jaw than in most communities. We have our detractors, like the hospital not being big enough or as well staffed as it should be, and a large drug problem for our size. However, I have not wanted to live any other place in very many years. I love Moose Jaw, and I don't ever want to be any other place. What is your favorite time of the day? 4AM. It's the perfect time to wake up and be alive I think. It's still quiet and calm and I can enjoy a cup of coffee without someone in the hall being loud or a car racing down the street. All is good with the world and it brings me a lot of peace. I can think then and just be happy for a while.

This is a list of 25 movies from the 1970’s that were sociologically important in their time. They were said to predict how society will eventually evolve. Some of the elements of these movies already exist and others seem to be moving toward still. In some cases, it’s speculation on how nature will turn on us, or how technology is to become completely in control. Of course there is the rise of the machine. There is also in one case the fact that it predicted virtual reality decades before it could possibly have become a reality. One even puts forth that we are not actually real, but a simulation. What are you grateful for in your daily life? Friends mostly. They lift me up and keep me strong. They give me the desire to keep on keeping on. Music. This is a big part of my life and I spend a heck of a lot of time listening to music with my headphones on. Social media. This is the place most of the people I care deeply for live, and I get a lot of pleasure out of it. Streaming. This keeps me distracted and at times gives me something to focus on when I need not to be lost in my own thoughts. Pusheen the Cat. I love almost everything Pusheen. My favorite thing I own is a Pusheen plush toy. She helps me get rid of the panic attacks and the tears. Social Housing. I'm glad that I can be in a place that lets me pay rent that is based on how much I have for income. Other places now are very much out of my price range and I would starve in the dark living in even a dive these days. What is nature to you? Mostly it's diversity. There is so much to the natural world that is beautiful and inspirational. Yes, nature can be cold, harsh, and violent. But even in the winter where everything is covered in snow and the trees have no leaves, the world is stunning to look at. A sunset or a sunrise can be so inspirational, and give you strength when you are down. To see a bird fly is to marvel in the majestic manner of flight and the dream of being able to fly. A flower is art that we can only come close to preproducing - even a photo of a flower falls short of it's glory. Lastly, it's not made by human hands. Most of the things in our society are cold, harsh and not at all welcoming. We build buildings that look like giant tombs to house manufacturing. We put up mile after mile of the same house, until you feel there is no individuality left in us, and we are lost to the vast machine that swallows' our souls and our minds.
