Working Is Not Your Right

I hate saying this because it effects people I find to be very good human beings in a negative manner (they get fired or can't get a job). I also 100% stand up for their right to choose not to get the Vaxx if they don't want it, even if I totally disagree with that action. I don't have to support their choices to care about them.

There are a lot of people complaining that they got fired for not getting the Vaxx or they can't get a job because it's a requirement. They claim this is a violation of their "right to work" and takes away their freedom of choice.

Nothing can be farther from the truth. It's your implicit right to not take it. Not one person on earth is going to come and hold you down and make you get it if you don't want it.

Here is the deal, if I don't have the ability or training to do the job, is it a violation of my right to work? Are they taking away my right not to get the training? No they are not.

To work for a business or even an individual is a privilege granted to you. There is no place where the laws that govern our society say they must hire you if you don't meat the standards of employment. If they mandate you need to wear a mask or to get the shot, it's their right to do that as the one employing you.

I honestly wish this all never happened and we did not have to go threw the hell we have all been threw and I wish these people I care about could work at places that won't take them. However this is not our reality, it's a desire. Nothing can change the fact you have to bend to the will of an employer to get a job. There are certain things they can't ask you to do and certain things they can't deny you for, but this sure as hell is not one of them.

I made a lot of bad choices in my life and I live with the consequences of my actions and will continue to do so the rest of my days. So too, you need to live with the consequences of your actions.
