Bonus Bing Points FTW

Been using the Bing app for a few months to generate points so I can cash them in for Amazon gift cars. It's close to 5K for a $5 card. I kept forgetting to do the tasks every day, so it took a bit to get 12 weeks every day for a "streak" so I could get 1000 bonus points. I got enough for a $5 card right now and I've cashed in 3 in the past. I'm not adding it to my Amazon account, as a friend wants me to order stuff for her, so I'll add it in after that so I can use it on my own stuff. Of course, when she pays me for the stuff, I'll bank the money and put it on my card. I actually like doing the tasks, there are interesting news stories to read, and so on, so it's not a waste of time to me, and the gift cars are a bonus.

John, The Book of Revelation, and Mushrooms

Where the book of Revelation of written has a lot to do with it's context it may seem. Definitely the reason why John was on this island had an influence in his vision of the future. It also echoes other parts of the bible. I'm here today to talk about the mushrooms on said island and the idea of spirituality and the magic mushroom. "John wrote the Book of Revelation while he was on the island of Patmos, an Aegean island where he was exiled due to anti-Christian persecution under the Roman emperor Domitian. I forget that when I’m thankful for all the great stuff I have in my life, then I tend to be happy. I am one of the majority of people in the free world that fall for a fallacy where people think that if you have something you will be happy. It’s always something stupid that I don’t need at all. Normally it’s something like pizza or a load of wings – a totally fleeting thing that would be a moment of joy when I’m consuming it, but then it’s gone, and I feel the need again for the next thing. I’m getting better with this. I try hard to remember life is about the interactions we have with friends and loved ones.
