Getting Drunk on a Camping Trip in 1986

This is a memory from a camping trip I took many years ago.

The was a place that served these 16OZ mug zombie (very strong drink). They where like $12 back in 1986 (a lot then). Well if you drank 2 you got 2 more free. The catch is, you had to come to the bar yourself and get them and it had to be at least 15 minutes between them. Well I got a 4 down me in the hour I was in the lounge, but I could not count to potato after. In fact I needed help back to my tent.

The Fifth Estate (1976 - Still Going) Documentary, News This was a show that I remember my Mom and Dad watching once a week. Later in life I watched it as well. I no longer watch it as I’m no longer interested in news. At the time in the 70’s I did not really get what it was all about, I just wanted to be with my parents while they watched it. My brother never did stay for it if I remember correctly. Hockey Night in Canada (1952 - Still Going) Sports Dad watched this all the time in the 70’s and 80’s then just kind of stopped. Trip To The ER and Sent Home Way To Soon

Went to the ER last night. At 6PM I started to shake all over my body and was in a terrible brain fog and dizzy and light headed. So I called 911 and went into the ER. I was in a hell of a shape for a while there. Then they gave me a med that can be addictive at higher dosages, and it worked like a charm. The tremors toned down very soon. Unfortunately I was left in a state where it was not safe for me to walk and I was very much a fall risk. But they sent me home in a cab anyway. I was so upset at that. I thought it would be a lot safer for me to stay overnight and get my balance back. A fall when you are on blood thinners can kill you. You hit your head and poof bleed into the brain and you are dead soon. So it's not cool to have been sent home like that when I literally said, "I'm not safe like this."
