I Love My Coffee

I bloody love me a cup of coffee in the morning. I got a discount brand that a lot of people look down on recently (not to be named). I had in the past absolutely hated this brand. I however saw how much a friend was liking it, and tried it again. The risk was high as there is a massive amount of it for the price, and if I hate it, I'm stuck drinking crappy coffee for 2 months or tossing it out.

Good thing is, I loved it. It's a breakfast blend and it's bloody delicious. I don't know what has changed since I had the brand years ago, but man it is good. It's smooth and rich. All the things it was not in the day. Before it was bitter and horrible. Now it's up there with any of the larger brands of coffee.

With about 2lbs of, it's enough to last a while. I've been into it 3 weeks now and it's only 1/4 of the way gone. Being that I use rather a lot of coffee in the Moka pot to make a single cup, this is amazing to me for sure. If you are doing a 10 or 12 cup drip, this is the way to go - in bulk.

For many years I've been looking for a blend that I've never seen anywhere. It was part of a sample pack I got over 16 years ago. The name has left my memory at the moment, but I looked for it for months when I got it. To be frank, it was super strong, and still very good at the same time. It had something to do with San Francisco I recall, but the name is lost to me.

The Lavazza I used to get religiously is now at such a price, It's not worth it to me - I'm not paying $36 a month for coffee - I'm just not. So it's on to this bulk brand that comes in a can bigger than my giant head.
