Got a new phone on super sale. First off, free shipping and free activation. Then, it got better with a free device and a free sim card. This was so cool to get and I just randomly checked and there was the sale just after I was eligible for an upgrade on my plan. One more bonus was a discount on the plan I picked that ends up about $19.96 less a month than I was paying for the same amount of data and unlimited calling to Canada and the USA and unlimited text, picture and video to a large part of the free world.
Setting it up with Smart Switch (Samsung) was so dang east - just turn on the app on the old one and in the setup on the new one choose backup and all - then POOF all my apps are installed and most of my settings as well. MOST - some of the app settings are not transferred for no valid reason but all my accounts are set up by the app. I did have an issue with OneDrive for no valid reason - the verification it sent me it did not accept and locked me out for 24 hours - SIGH. But other then that, it took about 1 hours 45 minutes to do it all.
My physiotherapist gave me a free one that was donated - a bed rail to help get out of bed with. It works very well most of the time. But when my left knee has this serious pain in the back of it, my brain shuts down the attempt from the spike of pain and I plop back down - it's a bother and I though I was stuck on the bed the other day after 10 minutes of trying with no luck. Well I had to poop and pee very badly and I thought I'd have to be rescued and I'd be covered in my own waste - SIGH. But I managed to finally ignore the pain and stand up. I'm currently waiting for a hospital bed to be delivered. I have not one clue what to do with the old one, and I need 24 hours notice at least to get rid of it (donate). There is no place to put it otherwise to be out of the way. I also need to get a friend in to take out a shit pile of boxes and garbage then move my dresser to the corner so the longer bed will fit in the space and I can get past it.
I have a nice fellow he cuts my toe nails when I need it, and I needed it. Well, he twitched and cut off a slice of my toe LOL. I felt nothing and he said, "oh shit," and I looked down to see blood. Being I'm on blood thinners, it was a bit of a deal. You can see the missing bit in the photo and it's not all the way gone, just the top of the skin but there was blood.
Last blurb is a photo of my TV with the security feed for the front door (lobby) and a deer looking into the window. A woman went out for a smoke and she just stayed there and ignored the woman. A man then went out and she wondered off - not ran off, wondered off. They are kind of tame. They come up from the valley in the early morning and eat the grass and flowers in the park, then go back to the valley. They are so beautiful and I am sad to think I killed several of them in my 20s. Yes the meat was used and it saved us a tone of money, but it was not totally needed and I look back on it with regret.
