Titicut Follies (1967) A Review

This is a documentary look at Bridgewater State Hospital that housed the  criminally insane. Frederick Wiseman gives us a look into the heart of a horrifying so called hospital. This footage, sadly, is completely real and documents the abuse and deaths of inmates. These men were often kept naked in stone cells with no bed or toilet. There are scenes of guards mentally and physically abusing inmates. One scene shows the face feeding of a man, the next scene his dead body being prepared for disposal. Interspersed are scenes of the man who ran the facility singing in a disturbing manner given what he has allowed to happen.


Note: the history of this place after revealed it was worse than the film showed and many who were due for release never got out. Some were never supported to be there in the first place.

IMDB 7.7/10 ME 8/10

This is hard to find in full form but it can be found online. I highly recommend you don't go looking for this film. Because it's real it disturbed me deeply and my empathy had me in tears often. To watch this unaffected in a negative manner would have me questioning your morality at best.

I love Quora, as I like to answer random questions. But there is a big issue with porn spam accounts on it. 70% of my upvotes are from a profile like this one. I'm kind of sure not one of them is safe to click, but I'm totally not interested in porn anyway. And not like this random person on the internet is going to come to your location just to boff you. Have to say I pass on about 60% of the questions I'm requested to answer. They literally make no sense and the English is so bad I can't decode it. But it's fun and I've answered a few questions most people who never dare to answer. Got to say, Twitter and Instagram are rather the same, 90% of the follows I get on them I block because they are either porn spam channels or scam channels.

Top 20 Deli Meats (Cold Cuts) Rated

I found a list of the top 20 cold cuts in the world. That head cheese got into this list makes me wonder what so called normal people think is good food. This is of course keyed to my tastes only and may not be how you see it. For example, Dad loved Bologna above all other cold cuts, and would fry it black and make sandwiches with tomato and Kraft sandwich spread. Sometimes the bread of toasted. On a side note, literally ONLY white bread of served to us at home as young folks and so on. The idea of eating brown bread was out of the question. BTW Mom's favorite cold cut was Olive Loaf. My perfect 10 no longer exists and it was called Onion Loaf. The inability to understand satire has been linked to a mental disorder known as ilitium. This is where the person reading, hearing or viewing satirical content takes it as the truth. It is compounded by the fact that people are emotional about their view points in matters of society. They either think it is the absolute truth when in reality it is a mockery or they rebel against it thinking it is a lie. Sadly there is no amount of education or medication for this disorder.
