Cat Food or Hot Sauce?

So Angie was so nice to send me a $50 gift card with a Christmas card. I really did not expect it and am very thankful. But it's for amazon.com and not amazon.ca so I had to set up with the .com version and add it to my profile there. Not hard to do.

I went around looking at hot sauce on there and after 20 different sellers refusing to ship to Canada and not really being in need of anything at all. I decided to use it to get a good friend who has less than I do something for her cats. She has a wish list you see. So I pick a cat carrier that is eligible for free shipping. It's enough that I figure with 12% tax it should still go threw. After all who has more than 12% tax I figured. Well it would not do it.

So I got on chat with the help desk. She said (after a 20 min. span of not understanding what I was saying and me not being able to say it any better) that it's because there was too much tax. Well so I deleted that one and added in pet food for about $13. Being that I have $50 with tax and shipping it should be good. NOPE it won't go threw. So back to the lady on chat and tell her this won't work as well. She had not one clue as to why. Well I did some looking and on a forum I read one person say that some companies that dead threw Amazon do NOT allow you to use the gift card. I think to myself, "why is this not stated instead of just saying enter payment option"? Well what ever... So I go and I delete the pet food and click on another pet food that is actually more money and no free shipping. Guess what? It went threw. The nice lady on the chat had no clue as to why this one worked and why the other 2 did not.

So I was left thinking, "what the hell is the forum right"? I guess it must be. I can't see any reason why it would be that way. After all the money is handled by Amazon and then they take a cut and send the rest to the distributor. So why would this be happening? I have literally no explanation for it at all. It makes no sense to me. But I am left thinking it is so... Who knows, it's not to be found on the site or threw the help desk LOL.

Oh well Crouton gets pet food and I don't have $50 sitting there that I will never use and will forget I have. So it all works out in the end. Happy eating Crouton and the other kitties. It should be there between the 18th and the 20th. Enjoy little buddies. All in all this is better than if I got my hot sauce anyway.

SAID Did Not Handle It at All

I'm actually extremely more sad than angry. I put a lot of energy into trying to get an advance, but it seems doomed to not happen, no matter how much I need it. Mar 13, 2024 I email SAID (disability in Saskatchewan). Mar 15, 2024 Left a voice mail. Mar 18, 2024 left another voice mail. Mar 20, 2024 got a call telling me they would process the advance on Mar 21, 2024. The deposit into my account should have been just after midnight on Mar 22, 2024. Well this is 6:46 am Mar 22, 2024 and I have left yet another voicemail. The money was never deposited OF COURSE. I need shoes SOON, but do you think I can get the government workers to do what they are being paid to do? Well, no I can't. Feeling Abandoned by the SAID Program (Saskatchewan Disability)

"Saskatchewan Department of Human Services" is the closest translation to Saskatchewan Social Services Department I could get. But I made them a new logo. They are the ones who run the disability here in the province. I know someone is picking up for my working not working there anymore, but it's been a LONG time and no call from them at all. I sent an email request to the email I was told to send it to. I called the number twice after that to leave a message. This is not cool from email to now is 4 working days. In all that time surly, it's my turn to be handled? I'm very upset and it's literally making me sick. So some art therapy is in order I think. To be honest I've had it a LOT better with them than the medical system to say the least, but DANG, I'm stressed out to the max and I am getting frightened that something very bad has gone wrong like thy messed up and closed my file by mistake. Medical Update (Disturbing Photo Warning)

On Dec. 31, 2023 I was laying on the floor in my apartment for 7 hours after falling when I got too drunk. I wan not able to get up and it took some time for anyone to hear me calling for help. I find it amazing that the people on either side of me, or across the hall heard nothing, but the lady way down the hall did hear me. She called an ambulance for me and I was helped off the floor with use of an air bag designed just for this task. I was taken to the hospital and seen right away. When in the hospital I was advised I needed a CT scan of my brain right away, as I'm on blood thinners and they worried about bleeding into my brain, since I could not recall falling. The CT operator in the Moose Jaw hospital was not available and I had to be taken to Regina General to have the scan. Fortunately, I did not have any bleeding in my brain. I have to say, that after being on the floor for 7 hours, if I did, I'd be dead or a salad plate by the time I was found. But better to be cautio
