I Know You Are Watching From Heaven

The number 11 has meaning to me on a personal level. I associate it with my mother who is now waiting in heaven for me. She used to say when you see the time 11:11 that someone is watching over you from heaven. Well here it is 11:11 AM and on August 11, 2026 and the temperature is 11C. The best part is, shortly after the screen shot the temperature went up to 18C just like that. So was the universe holding it at 11C so that I would get the message? I really do think it was.

When I get a message from dad, it's the smell of the aftershave he used to wear that is no longer made and hasn't been for over 20 years. Or I'll smell the pipe tobacco he used to smoke (peaches and cream) - what a delight that smell was and it always made me happy when I smelled it. There was the one time I was cleaning out the tool box - well, I'd cleaned it out many times before after dad passed on and never saw the note. But there it was, a note from dad. It was nothing special, just to but some nails or something - it's been a long time, I honestly just remember there was a note with something mandarin on it. I was thinking about him a lot before that and there it was.

Been thinking a lot about my entire family this last few weeks. I miss family game night and meals in that small kitchen nook we used to eat in. I have to say I almost never won any of the games, but that was not important, the time with my family was. They are all gone now - mom, dad, brother - all gone. My family left in the city act like I'm dead and don't care I exist. That's another story completely, but just know, it's all on them, not on me - and they did it to at least one other relative I know of.

Well I'm off to play some puzzles and listen to podcasts. Have a good one and remember, you are worthy of Love.

All Those Porn Spam Accounts

I love Quora, as I like to answer random questions. But there is a big issue with porn spam accounts on it. 70% of my upvotes are from a profile like this one. I'm kind of sure not one of them is safe to click, but I'm totally not interested in porn anyway. And not like this random person on the internet is going to come to your location just to boff you. Have to say I pass on about 60% of the questions I'm requested to answer. They literally make no sense and the English is so bad I can't decode it. But it's fun and I've answered a few questions most people who never dare to answer. Got to say, Twitter and Instagram are rather the same, 90% of the follows I get on them I block because they are either porn spam channels or scam channels.

Top 20 Deli Meats (Cold Cuts) Rated

I found a list of the top 20 cold cuts in the world. That head cheese got into this list makes me wonder what so called normal people think is good food. This is of course keyed to my tastes only and may not be how you see it. For example, Dad loved Bologna above all other cold cuts, and would fry it black and make sandwiches with tomato and Kraft sandwich spread. Sometimes the bread of toasted. On a side note, literally ONLY white bread of served to us at home as young folks and so on. The idea of eating brown bread was out of the question. BTW Mom's favorite cold cut was Olive Loaf. My perfect 10 no longer exists and it was called Onion Loaf. This is July 18, 2026 and on the 20th Mom will have been dead for 14 long years. I don't have the words to express how much we cared about each other. I loved he more than my own life. I will never stop missing her. She will always be a part of my very existence. To watch her waste away and to no longer be able to take care of her where by far the hardest things I faced in this life.
