Van Holten's Hot Pickle Review
It is hot I'll give it that, but other then that it's a bit bland. Hot level is a 3/10 for similar products. It's really not that hot, but it will get your attention if you are not used to spice.
The brine is just that and nothing else. There is no dill or any other flavorings in it at all. The tart of an average pickle is a lot more than this, so I'm assuming it's got sugar in it.
It's average size for a pickle and the packaging makes it good to toss in your lunch before you head to work or school. I give it a bonus, because it will stand up if you place it on it's bottom end.
The heat from it lingers but it does not stay as strong for long, it just fades away kind of slowly. It's not going to be a problem, unless you are extremely intolerant to spice.
I'm going to give it a 5/10 because it needs to be flavored a bit more than just being hot. You can't even tell what spice makes it hot (or pepper), so without looking at the back of the bag, I'm guessing it's chemical hot, not natural.
