June Blogging Challenge Day 21

What is a little gesture that made your day?

A friend messaged me to tell me how much they appreciate me and that I can depend on them when I need to talk. There are many people who will say they are there if you need to talk these days, but most of them don't answer for days if at all, when you message your troubles to them. I have a small group of good friends who are very close to me, and they make me feel loved, and special. I appreciate them deeply. I would gladly be there for them if they needed as well. I have in the past spent hours messaging with a friend when they needed it. It's what a good person does. I am reminded of how many people I thought where friends in the past that where not there for me when I needed, and I was there for them many times. One case, I did a hell of a lot of fixing his computer, setting stuff up for him, fixing his car and more - the one single time I needed his help he said I had to pay him - that ended that relationship right there. So to be told, "I'm here for you" makes a very big difference and fills me with a sense of love and belonging.
