June Blogging Challenge Day 3

What is a music album that you're grateful for?

That would be "Killers" by Iron Maiden. I got it when it first came out in 1981. I've always been a big fan of them. I went to a couple of their concerts back in the 1990's. I've had many, many hours of listening to their songs. There is just something about their music that keeps drawing me back to them. Killers is I think the best of their albums, although it's only the second one they put out.

She lives with her boyfriend Paul, who says he is in love with her, but he refuses to have sexual relations with her. This causes Marie to look for intimate relations with someone else. The Electric State (2025) A Review

The name of this movie has more than one meaning to it. The first is obvious as it involves robots who have evolved into life forms. The other not so obvious is that all we are in our minds is electrical impulses. There is the idea that when we pass on, that electricity transcends to another state of being and what we are lives on after the body is gone. This is stated, in part, near the start of the movie but is easy to miss. I’m going to do this review in text, because the movie got to me enough, that I may get emotional on video and start leaking. It was (at least to me) deeply moving and a vision of a possible reality not too long off from now. It is also a vision of what might be an ethical dilemma in the future, where we ignore very evil things happening so we can enjoy our lives more. Time To Clean Up Pride Parades

A bit about me first. I am pansexual and fluid gender. I also spent years in an organization that raised awareness of the LGBTQ+ community and was a founding member of the group. I support our cause with a deep passion and want the best for my people in this wonderful community of great souls. I’ve not been to a pride parade in person for years. I’m not able to march, and I’m not able to stand for long to watch either, I’m just too disabled. However, I’ve seen a great deal of videos of pride events. It’s about these parades that I am going to speak about. There is a lot of good things in these parades. They show the best side of the community and elements that should be celebrated.
