When A Store You Use Has A Broken Web Page
So there is a place in town I use now and then for items I don't actually need, but sometimes want to consume. Well it's been 3 months since I could log into their page to order stuff. They do not take orders on the phone, just on the web page.
It logged me out 3 months ago for no valid reason, and I can't log back in at bloody all. When I type in my user name, password, and the math question (verify you are human) it just goes back to the login screen and never lets you in.
Now I'm copy pasting the info from an encrypted text file, so it is 100% correct. The math problem is stuff like 10-8 so it's not hard to bloody do. Now I tried to reset the password on it, just incase it was messed up for no valid reason, but the link it sends me to my email says that the key is invalid. So no can reset the bloody thing.
So I tried to make a new account with a new email (I have 4 that I use and 1 for shit I'm going to use once). Well, you do that, and back to the login screen you go, and nothing happens. It sends you an email saying you created an account, but it won't log you in. I tried this twice with different passwords both times and NOPE.
Now I've tried it all - I turned off the ad-blocker. I used 3 different browsers on the PC and 2 different browsers on the phone. Not going to work at all.
Now here is where it gets stranger. I phoned them and told them what's happening. Well the woman said, "let me reset the tablet it's running on." Then she put me on hold and walked off. Well, here is the deal, the tablet gives them the information needed to send out your stuff only. The point of sails is on the web page, and that is hosted on a site I won't name, but know what it is (it literally says it.)
So I give up. The need to contact the web master who made the site for them and get it bloody fixed. But good luck with that happening if they think it's hosted on a bloody tablet - SIGH.
I can 100% live without the product, but this is a bother. It's literally only once a month I can get it, but I like having it once a month. So I'm screwed.
As well, the other place that I can do phone orders and pay at the door is kind of out of the question as well. I ordered from them, and my credit card did not work. Well I wanted the points, so I tried it first. The guy gets 50 shades of pissy after I tell him it must be locked because it over (I did not know it was at the moment.) So he is like, "you knew it was over and you phoned anyway?" then fast walks down the hall to the elevators. I had no time to even say, "Well I'll just pay with my bank card, as I know there is enough money in it." I was not going to yell down the hall to him, and I was not going to chase him - so fuck that - I'm not dealing with someone with the emotional age of a 14 year old.
Well rant off - This was a two for one I guess, as I went off on two different stores. Yes I left out the k in the graphic, just because LOL.
