SHAW BLUECURVE GATEWAY REVIEW AND THEN SOME

  Speed tests are on the left. My shinny new A50 did the worst it seems. The PC was wired so it went blazing fast. The old S7 did darn good. I got to say the installation was a nightmare. They want you to set it all you yourself and there is no documentation. There is a shinny app you can waste memory with or enter the IP to get it set up - either will work. If you want the app, use it from the start, don't try and use it after use used the browser to set up the gateway. First off the lettering on the bottom of the modem is not friendly to my eyes. The other thing is, there is a vast amount of information on the bottom, so it was hard to pick out. Being the cable was too short to pick it up to eye level, I had to take a photo to see the password and so on. This was problematic as where I have it is low to the ground and I'm disabled and it hurt me a lot to squat down to do that. If I had thought of it - I'd have just written it all down when I took it out of the box

OLD FAMILY PHOTOS

My Grandma if one of them and it's in Regina, that's all I know. My Dad, 1960's North Batleford. Mom and her Sister. 1970's. Location not know. My cousin, near Yourton, Saskatchewan. 1950's When I saw the place in the 1970's none of those plants where still there. Never found out who these people are, just know they where relatives. I think this is my Mother, and I think it's in North Battleford. Would be the 50's or 60's. My cousins, Their Parents and someone I don't know. 1950's This is my Grandma, 1940's Mom and Me, late 1960's or early 1970's. I thought I never owned slippers and obviously I did. Cousins - no idea when it was taken. An Uncle, and Aunt and my Aunt's friend (1940's I think). An aunt as a baby. My Dad Cousins, early 1970's A cousin as a baby.

I ENJOY JIGSAW GALORE

I do jigsaw puzzles to try and keep my brain active. I do a few a week normally but some days I'll do 3 or 4 in one day. Normally I take about 30 minutes for one like these two, so I was slow that day. I use Jigsaw Galore to do them and I enjoy the program a lot. I have 1300+ puzzles on the hard drive and saved in my backups, so I'll be doing them for years to come. The program came with some and there where a bunch of free ones on the site, but most are my own photos or ones I got from the internet (most my own). You can set it to rotate pieces as well to make it more of a challenge. The program does 4 to 64,000 pieces per image. It is available for Windows and Mac.
