July Blogging Challenge Day 11

Have I done anything to make someone else happy today?

I go out of my way to do this every day. I am sure it gives the opposite result for some people who are bitter and filled with self hate and loathing, but for the most part - I think what I put out into the world is at least a bit of a smile for most people who encounter it.

All of the content I share online and the messages I send tend to be aimed at improving peoples day to some extent. I'm a very supportive and giving person. This does sound like tooting my own horn, and it probably is - but it's the truth. I care and I want to improve the day of others when they see what I put out there.

Let me end with, "I love you and I think you are worthy."

CANADIAN TV SHOWS OF THE 1970'S

The Fifth Estate (1976 - Still Going) Documentary, News This was a show that I remember my Mom and Dad watching once a week. Later in life I watched it as well. I no longer watch it as I’m no longer interested in news. At the time in the 70’s I did not really get what it was all about, I just wanted to be with my parents while they watched it. My brother never did stay for it if I remember correctly. Hockey Night in Canada (1952 - Still Going) Sports Dad watched this all the time in the 70’s and 80’s then just kind of stopped. I now watch it on my own. I love Hockey and CFL (Canadian Football). At the time I just was there for it – was not interested in sports until I was much older. It's Bloody Cold in My Apartment and It's Causing Me a Lot of Pain

Got to wonder if the person from Moose Jaw Housing that decides the boiler should be BLOODY OFF in the building has the heat in their home turned off right now, or if they are comfortable and warm - while about 90 people freeze in here. Phoning in and/or emailing does about nothing it seems. This has happened many times and only once did they turn the bloody heat on. This is literally not legal - it's not allowed to be under 16C, or THEY are responsible for giving you an electric heater to use until it warms up. But here I sit being in terrible pain, because I have fibromyalgia and the cold causes me a hell of a lot of pain. I know I'm disabled and on the system to survive, but I'm a bloody human and if people treated animals like this, they law would come down on them - yet here we are humans freezing in our apartments. Coffee or Not Coffee That Is The Question

I got this on sale for a bit less than $7 a bag (250g). It's very good and I like it a lot. The thing is, it's now almost $10 a bag. The other blends of Lavazza coffee are almost $8 a bag. Now I tend to use 5 bags a month on average for just 1 cup of coffee a day with my large Moka Pot. This has become a very large expense to say the least. Sure I can get a close to 1KG can of coffee for $16 at my local store, but it it worth the price at all? I don't think it is. If I have coffee at home, I want to be able to enjoy the hell out of it, not just use it to wake up. The entire point of coffee to me is the ritual of making it, and the great pleasure I get in consuming a very good cup of coffee. So when it's going to set me back close to $43 a bloody month to have coffee at home, I think I'll skip it to say the least. Six months ago that was about $28 a month. Häagen-Dazs Coffee Ice Cream - Review

Häagen-Dazs Coffee Ice Cream is typically expensive but I got this on sale for $5. Well, for the name alone, you expect this to be the best coffee ice cream ever, but it was not. I've had many that compare directly to this one. It's not as rich as I remember from years ago when we used to get the brand for a treat. The coffee flavor was overpowering the ice cream taste. Plus side, it's a good size for one person to munch down if you ask me. It tastes good. Minus side, it's expensive for what you get. It's not the most premium tasting I've had. I was expecting it to be more rich, and I was disappointed. This being said, it's better than a some I've had for comparable prices. I'm going to give it a 6.5/10. It needs to be richer, and less powerful on the coffee taste.
