2 PRAYERS AND 2 POEMS

Below are two prayers I learned a while ago, but have no idea who they are originally from. They have gone around the internet in the Pagan circles often over the years. As well I have included two of my own poems. Enjoy.

Lord and Lady grant me the power of Water, to accept what I cannot change. The power of Fire, for the energy and courage to change the things that I can. The power of Air, for the ability to know the difference. Grant me the power of Earth, for the strength to know and walk my path. Blessed Be.

Earth, Air Sea and Wind - Bless my family and my friends - Power of Love and Hope and Light, protect me onward through the night. Guard my home from things that creep. Good Spirits watch me as I sleep. By Fire, Storm, Earth and Sea - As I speak - so mote it me.

I Think of Eternity

Snow falling on a field of mud.

North wind moving my hair.

I remember the days I ran free.

Today I think of eternity.

I hold a stuffed toy for comfort.

The pain fills my mind.

I am anxious and feel alone.

Today I think of eternity.

I watch a field of canola in the wind.

The golden sun low in the distance.

It’s cold but I feel the beauty of life.

Today I think of tomorrow.

In the wind I hear my soul,

In the wind I see the future,

In the wind I find hope.

In the water I see myself,

In the water I feel new,

In the water I can dream.

On the land I can grow,

On the land I can be,

On the land I can pray.

In the fire I see the world,

In the fire I hear the past,

In the fire there is no future.
