NO COFFEE FOR THE REST OF THE MONTH

So one of my friends out for coffee today was sick. I was thinking "dang I don't need to catch this". See I have an operation to fix my hernia in about a month. I can't afford to be sick.

So I've decided to take a radical approach and stay home the entire month. This way I can't catch anything from someone when I'm out.

This only minimizes the risk of course, I can still catch something in my building while checking the mail or something. But this is far less likely. I'm kind of sure most of the time I have been sick in the past several years, I got it when I was out on the town.

This will be dull as hell and I will very much miss the company of my friends - but I just need to get this done and over with. I can't have it delay to long. People have booked time off to be with me after the operation and to take me to and from the hospital - I don't want that to be for nothing.

    Who knows, even touching door handles or washing machines where someone sick touched could get you sick, you just never know.

People Make Me Wonder About Them at Times

Commented on a post asking where to get a key fob for a command start. Someone already mentioned that you need to have the module activated to start with. I commented that you need to program the fob. I got a reply that was an image of the manual on how to operate the key fob. SMH - That's how to use it. It does not magically know how to pair with your module. It's not very hard to pair them, and you can just follow instructions off a web page, but yeah, it needs to be done first. If your module did not have a code that is different than others around it, you would be starting other people's cars not just yours. I guess somehow this bit of simple logic is just too much to understand. Yes, there are overlapping codes, but they make sure you don't have them sold in the same regain. It has happened that when relocating to a new province, people lucked out and the code was the same as the car parked next to them. I've literally in my entire life only heard of this once.

I Have to Pay a Subscription for A TV Browser

First off, I would really like to know if other brands of Android TV literally DON'T have the ability to install Chrome browser on them. I'd prefer to have Edge on it, but that is not an option either. I've never used an Android TV other than this one before. For the small number of browsers out there for my TV, this (Puffin TV Browser) is literally the only one that does not totally fail at navigating web pages. The also all claim to have adblocking then don't block ads at all most of the time. Puffin is not perfect at adblocking but I'm not getting any popups at all, just the stray in-frame ad here and there. The downside is it's NOT free to use. You will very shortly run out of bandwidth on it and be told you need to pay CDN $1.29 a month to use it. Well, I just signed up for the 7-day free trial, then on the 3rd of March I'll be billed for it by Google. Comes out to $1.44 with taxes. 3 Quick Things

My cat has been on the fridge for years now and won't come down. My heal was badly cracked and painful. Petroleum jelly fixed it right up in a short time. There is just a bit of the callous left on it, and I'm hoping it comes off eventually. Rexall has this service where just before you run out of meds, you get a text to come and get more. Well, it has not worked for me the last while as you see. First off, I got 2 orders in 2 weeks, then I got this third one in 20 days after the last one So now I have 2.5 months of pills on the shelf. I canceled my auto refill service and am just going to call them from now on. I told them twice already it was giving me them too early, and nothing was fixed, so I'll just do it the old way from now on.

Coffee and Pills

Two things that need to happen every morning are coffee and pills. To be honest the amount coffee wakes me up is minimal at best, but I do very much enjoy drinking the stuff. I remember when I first started drinking coffee and friends said, "you have to get used to the taste". They said the same about beer. I loved both from the first sip. I spend more on coffee that most people I'd say, and it is worth it to me, as the better the coffee the better the taste obviously. Three sets of pills, one is supplementing the doctor told me to take, and the other two are morning and night pills to keep me alive and not all depressed. I used to take a few more, but thankfully I was able to get off them and reduce the number of meds I need.

Happy Birthday Pusheen

It's the birthday of my favorite thing I own - Pusheen. This is one of the originals, before the new company took over making them. She was kind of expensive in the day, but I just had to have her, and had the money at that time. I've got a bunch of Pusheen toys, but this is my all-time favorite and stays on the nightstand beside my bed. At night I pretend to give her treats and say good night to her. In the morning I pretend to feed and water her. I'm sane, really, I am, I just really enjoy pretending she is a real cat. Sometimes I talk around holding her in front of me, and pretend she is super kitty and flying. When I'm in a lot of pain, or depressed or anxious, she helps very much, just by holding her and listening to music. Life would not be half as good without her. Yes, we had a birthday celebration with the last of the biscuits I had.
