The Computers of My Life

 A Commodore Vic 20 was my first computer (not my photo). I had it for several years and can't remember how long I had the data set for it and remember the long long wait for it to load something. I later got an extended basic cartridge for it that allowed to do some cool things but not much really. 
 Second system I had several of these Commodore 64's and many disc drives for them. By the time I was done using them, it was well past the 8-bit days. I remember having hundreds of games for it at the time.
 My first PC after abandoning the Commodore 64 way of life. This was a 16 bis system and was put together from spare parts. It is the same basic case that I used for my next system as you see below.
 Another 16 bit dell system. This lasted for several years, not sure how long. The next one did not go so lucky.
 Dell number three was a 32 bit system running a windows 98 and I later upgraded to Vista as I got the OS for free from a friend. It was nice and it was faster, but it did not live long. The mother board went on it one day and that was it for that.
 Current system is a 64 bit HP Pavilion. It came with 8gb of ram and I expanded to 24. There is a 1TB heard drive in it and a 2gb video card (upgraded). It runs just fine and does what I need it to do when I need it to do it. I went on this from windows 8 to 8.1 then to 10 and finally 10 Anniversary. There is also a 2TB external drive and a 2TB portable drive I have for backups. I have way nicer speakers for it now though and a different set of headphones.
Last off my tablet. This thing is not the greatest thing on earth but I really only use it to place a game when I can't sleep or to watch a movie on Netflix or Shomi with the headphones on. I am not really a fan of tablets but this gets me by and does what I got it for.

Not shown is my LG G4 smart phone with a 64gb micro-sd card in it. I have a crap pile of music on the sd card and this thing gets a tone of use. Almost all of my videos are done on it and I do a pile of social media on the phone all day and night. It has served me well and is the best smart phone I have had. I have to say I hated my iPhone with a passion and paid almost $100 just to get rid of the dang thing on an early upgrade.

SAID Did Not Handle It at All

I'm actually extremely more sad than angry. I put a lot of energy into trying to get an advance, but it seems doomed to not happen, no matter how much I need it. Mar 13, 2024 I email SAID (disability in Saskatchewan). Mar 15, 2024 Left a voice mail. Mar 18, 2024 left another voice mail. Mar 20, 2024 got a call telling me they would process the advance on Mar 21, 2024. The deposit into my account should have been just after midnight on Mar 22, 2024. Well this is 6:46 am Mar 22, 2024 and I have left yet another voicemail. The money was never deposited OF COURSE. I need shoes SOON, but do you think I can get the government workers to do what they are being paid to do? Well, no I can't. I would pray that they get the message and it somehow magically gets deposited today before 1 pm. But I am rather sure this was the last push I needed to stop believing there is a God. Feeling Abandoned by the SAID Program (Saskatchewan Disability)

"Saskatchewan Department of Human Services" is the closest translation to Saskatchewan Social Services Department I could get. But I made them a new logo. They are the ones who run the disability here in the province. I know someone is picking up for my working not working there anymore, but it's been a LONG time and no call from them at all. I sent an email request to the email I was told to send it to. I called the number twice after that to leave a message. This is not cool from email to now is 4 working days. In all that time surly, it's my turn to be handled? I'm very upset and it's literally making me sick. So some art therapy is in order I think. To be honest I've had it a LOT better with them than the medical system to say the least, but DANG, I'm stressed out to the max and I am getting frightened that something very bad has gone wrong like thy messed up and closed my file by mistake. Medical Update (Disturbing Photo Warning)

On Dec. 31, 2023 I was laying on the floor in my apartment for 7 hours after falling when I got too drunk. I wan not able to get up and it took some time for anyone to hear me calling for help. I find it amazing that the people on either side of me, or across the hall heard nothing, but the lady way down the hall did hear me. She called an ambulance for me and I was helped off the floor with use of an air bag designed just for this task. I was taken to the hospital and seen right away. When in the hospital I was advised I needed a CT scan of my brain right away, as I'm on blood thinners and they worried about bleeding into my brain, since I could not recall falling. The CT operator in the Moose Jaw hospital was not available and I had to be taken to Regina General to have the scan. Fortunately, I did not have any bleeding in my brain. I have to say, that after being on the floor for 7 hours, if I did, I'd be dead or a salad plate by the time I was found. But better to be cautio
