OK this was over the top good. It was also on sale for almost half the normal price, so it was a great deal. I enjoy dark chocolate and ice cream, so when they come together - it's always something special.
Rampage Coffee Co. is located in Saskatoon Saskatchewan and is a small batch coffee roasting company that makes 3 different and very unique blends. The company is still small and the owners still work in other jobs. They are also very community minded and donate part of the profits to upstart artists, musicians and the like. Today I fired up a fresh ground pot of "Riot Coffee". I had to say it was a very enjoyable experience. There was a very fresh taste to the coffee, a lot more fresh that I have ever had the pleasure to experience in the past. Also had hints of caramel and chocolate in the background. The acidity was low compared to a lot of coffee I have had and it was only slightly bitter. It was a smooth cup of coffee and the aroma was wonderful and full bodied. This is how I would like coffee to be. You can't expect to get any more fresh than this. It is made per order on a Monday, packaged on a Tuesday then mailed out on a Wednesday. Depend...
I found a list of the top 20 cold cuts in the world. That head cheese got into this list makes me wonder what so called normal people think is good food. This is of course keyed to my tastes only and may not be how you see it. For example, Dad loved Bologna above all other cold cuts, and would fry it black and make sandwiches with tomato and Kraft sandwich spread. Sometimes the bread of toasted. On a side note, literally ONLY white bread of served to us at home as young folks and so on. The idea of eating brown bread was out of the question. BTW Mom's favorite cold cut was Olive Loaf. My perfect 10 no longer exists and it was called Onion Loaf. Nothing will ever replace Onion Loaf in my mind. 1 Turkey Breast 4/10 2 Ham 5/10 3 Roast Beef 2/10 4 Salami 7/10 5 Bologna 3/10 6 Chicken Breast 4/10 7 Prosciutto 9/10 8 Pastrami 8/10 9 Pepperoni 7/10 10 Mortadella 7/10 11 Corned Beef 4/10 12 Capicola 7/10 13 Liverwurst 6/10 14 Soppressata 8/10 15 Chorizo 6/10 16 Genoa 7/10 17 Pork Roll 2/10...
Below is information on how to run COTW 1 and 2 on a 64 bit windows machine. As well there is saved game hack info you can use or not. At the bottom is some helpful hints on starting the game. The above image is a screen cap of the COTW 2 village where you start. The games are simple, but actually challenging if you do not cheat. You can play Castle of the Winds 1 and 2 on a 64 bit windows box with the emulator OTVDM . It's rather easy to find the games on abandonware sites. If you want to cheat on the game, you will need a hex editor, I recommend Hexinator . Download and unzip OTVDM then copy the COTW folders into it. Then do the following: Copy folder where you want it to be. Make a shortcut to "otvdmw.exe" Put shortcut where you want it (desktop for example) Click shortcut Click on "MICROSTR" for COTW 1 - click "CASTLE1.exe" - it should then run Click on "CASTLE2" for COTW 2 - click "CASTLE2.exe" - it should then run To cheat, st...

No Name Dark Roast Coffee is not the worst coffee I ever had, but It's not all that great. I was looking for coffee that would be acceptable and way less money than the Lavazza that I normally got. I use a lot of coffee in the Moka Pot, for just one mug of coffee (24oz). So I got this instead with my grocery order. The taste is slightly burnt, slightly woody, and a faint hint of nuts. There is a bitter aftertaste that lasts a hell of a long time after you drink this stuff. It also leaves your mouth feeling oily. For the price of it however, it's acceptable ($15.99 for 925g) a months supply of Lavazza was close to $40 - so it's a big saving. You do give up quality and taste for a saving. It's like most truck stop coffee. Nothing special, just something to give you a kick start. Well it did have a kick to it, I'll give it that. But the taste is not great. I honestly think I'll just drink tea from now on, as I can get a lot of tea for less money than this one bag o...
