Fingernails Grow At Different Rates

Ever notice that all your finger and tole nails grow at a different rate? I sure have. The strange thing is I remember being a kid and they where not as different as now. I don't know if it's because I have bigger fingers now and it's just more easy to notice or that they actually have over time become more different in growth rate. The toenails are ever more dramatic in difference - although over time they tend to grow way slower than my fingers. This is to the point I cut my fingernails twice as often as the toenails. Anyhow this is just an observation...
