Well Hit And Miss With The Weight Loss

 OK a combination of eating a bunch of processed food and things with a lot of fat in them ended up with me up 2 lbs this week. Not great, but it's not bad either. I have jumped as much as 12 lbs in a week in the past - not that was NOT good.
 Above are the wings I pigged on (20 of them). Well we all know they are like 10% fat after all, not to mention deep fried. To the right you see the pizza I got with all that processed crap on it. Every time I eat processed food I retain water for days after. I actually got lucky this time and it was not that much retention.
So all in all 2 lbs up is not to be ashamed of. The last 2 weeks I was down about 5 lbs each time. What is to be ashamed of is that I ended up on a LONG binge of eating junk food and processed food for months on end. Last year I did very very good but this year not so well so far.




As you see below week 6 was an atrocity - my legs actually hurt from being so puffed up with the water weight. 19 weeks and only down 12.2 - I'm not happy with it, but I am trying to be on track. I don't get it - last year I did so darn well, and this year so far I am sucking at it. BTW I started recording last year at around the same time as this year starts. I want to be under 170kg next week. Also 3 years ago I topped out at 498 lbs. I lost down to 465 before starting my logs and then in that year did very well at it. I dropped 73.4 lbs total that year - I would LOVE to do that again. I will also be very happen when I hit the total of 100 LBS off (in my log as I already have lost over 100 since 3 years ago).

What can I say? We fall, we get back up and we try again and again. As long as the trend is down and now up over the long run, be happy. If you can't stand the small losses only weigh yourself once a month instead of once a week. Allow yourself a treat now and then but don't get stupid like I have been for months now. Lean on friends - they always help with support and encouragement. You can do this, I know you can - hugs.
